DAL & The Dawson Academy
DAL is proud to be a member of the Dawson Academy Laboratory Association. This designation represents the highest level of comprehensive, full service dental laboratory support available in dentistry today. Among the requirements for accredited dental laboratories are designated board-certified technicians in each of seven different key departments who have completed the basic Dawson Academy curriculum, as well as a week of specialty training in an accredited laboratory facility. Under the direction of Dr. Leonard Hess - protégé of the late Dr. Peter Dawson, the Dawson Academy Faculty, and the DAL team, you’ll be provided a blend of high-tech developments and clinical artistry found nowhere else in dentistry.

What They Do
The Dawson Academy is a postgraduate educational and clinical research facility, dedicated to the advancement of dentistry.
The clinical faculty, most of whom maintain full-time fee-for-service practices, teach the principles and skills necessary for the successful practice of complete, quality, predictable dentistry as practiced and taught by Dr. Peter E. Dawson.
The curriculum is designed to support those doctors striving to be physicians of the masticatory system. Through research, study, and clinical practice, our members search for truth in all aspects of dental medicine and endeavor to ensure that the truth is practiced for the benefit of all patients.
