DAL Comfort Guards offer you and your patients cost-effective bruxism protection as well as protection for fixed restorative work. DAL Comfort Guards are thermoformed using sudden vacuum for precise adaptation and can be fabricated for either arch. Additionally, DAL Comfort Guards are easily adjusted and polished and may be added to with self-cure orthodontic if required. They are available in three design alternatives:

DAL Comfort Soft Guard
An upper or lower soft, clear guard available with or without imprint of opposing teeth. Occlusal thickness of the finished guard is approximately 3mm. Thinner guards are available upon request.

DAL Comfort Hard Guard
A hard, clear, full coverage guard with even, flat contacts with opposing teeth. Occlusal thickness of the finished guard is approximately 2½mm. This guard is not available with canine guidance or posterior disclusion.

DAL Comfort Hard/Soft Guard
Our standard guard, which is the same as the DAL Comfort Hard Guard except the inner surface has a 1mm layer of soft material for increased comfort and ease of delivery. Occlusal thickness of the finished guard is approximately 2½mm. This guard is not available with canine guidance or posterior disclusion.
